TRT ELIGIBILITY CHECK

Low energy, reduced strength, poor focus, and changes in sexual function can sometimes be related to low testosterone.

Before recommending the right starting point, we’ll complete a quick medical safety check.

This ensures your care is always safe, appropriate, and aligned with Xvera’s consultant-led standards.

    Option 1

Order a home testosterone screening test

A low-commitment, accurate first step for many men.

A simple finger-prick blood test performed at home.

    Your kit measures:

    • Total testosterone
    • SHBG / albumin (if applicable)
    • Calculated free testosterone (if included)

Why start with a screening test?

    • Discreet, convenient first step
    • Accurate morning reading
    • Helps clarify whether symptoms may be testosterone-related
    • Consultant-reviewed results

    Option 2

If you’d prefer to speak with the consultant directly.

    In this consultation we will:

    • Review symptoms
    • Consider alternative causes
    • Organise appropriate blood tests
    • Explain treatment options and safety considerations
    • Discuss whether TRT is appropriate
    BOOK A CONSULTATION

Please book your initial consultation at least 7 days ahead to allow time for your blood kit to be sent and your results to be processed and reviewed before your appointment.

Your safety comes first. Here’s what we recommend.

Based on your answers, a consultant-led assessment is the safest and most appropriate next step. Some medical situations — such as prostate conditions, fertility needs, younger age, or possible sleep apnoea — require specialist review before any testing or treatment.

At Xvera, your wellbeing always comes first. We will only recommend treatment when it is clinically appropriate and safe.
